Monster Baby

So I had to post that little blast from the past because the past week or three has been increasingly difficult. The Beast has been waking up at 5 every morning, and has been having trouble napping and falling asleep. Bathtime has been a major battle, he's chewed holes in most of his pacifiers, and he is completely obsessed with KEYS. Primarily, obtaining mine. He's generally been grumpy, frustrated, and over tired.

But we seem to have turned a corner! Typically grumpy, sleep deprived periods are followed by periods of intense development, and I think we're onto the development track. Whew. We made it out alive.

He's given up the pacifier and he chatters away all the time. He starts sentences with "Um! A wah gah wah gah gah." in this conversational, chatty tone. The other day he said "da pa tee" which meant "that's papa's truck." I think. He likes to cook and knows how to make his own scrambled egg. I'm looking forward to see what comes next.

He didn't want to let go of his monster truck while he rode his bike.
